MattBeth Construction LLC ("MattBeth Construction," "we," "us," or "our") is a Florida-licensed general contractor (License #CGC1509042) serving Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit mattbeth.com (the "Site"), use our AI estimating assistant ("Frank"), submit a form, or otherwise communicate with us.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, and details about your project.
• Frank, our AI estimating assistant (web chat or SMS): your name, email address, company name (optional), your phone number if you text Frank, the messages you send describing your project, and any files or photos you choose to share (for example, plans or site photos).
• Subcontractor registration: your name, company name, email address, phone number, and trade specialty.
• Direct communications: information you share when you call, email, text, or message us on WhatsApp or social media.

Information collected automatically

• Server and security logs: our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically record standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and access times.
• Fonts and embedded services: the Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, time on page, device type, and approximate (city-level) location. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data on our behalf under Google’s privacy policy; you can opt out at any time with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your inquiries and prepare project estimates, including AI-generated preliminary estimates through Frank.
• To communicate with you about your project by phone, email, text message, or WhatsApp.
• To evaluate and onboard subcontractors and distribute bid packages.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site and our services.
• To comply with legal, licensing, insurance, and record-keeping obligations.

4. Frank — Our AI Estimating Assistant

Frank is an automated (AI-powered) assistant available through the chat widget on this Site and by text message at (954) 953-4789. When you interact with Frank, your messages, contact details, and any shared files or photos are transmitted to and processed on our estimating systems. Our SMS service is powered by Twilio, and Frank's AI responses are powered by Anthropic's Claude AI; these providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

Conversations may be stored so our team can review your project, follow up with you, and improve the accuracy of our estimates. SMS conversation data is retained for up to 12 months.

Estimates provided by Frank are preliminary and informational only — they are not a binding quote, contract, or offer. Please do not share sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers or government ID numbers) in the chat. See our Terms of Service for full details on the Frank service.

5. Calls, Texts & WhatsApp

If you provide your phone number, or if you text Frank at (954) 953-4789, you consent to being contacted by us at that number — including by phone call, SMS/text message, or WhatsApp — regarding your inquiry, estimate, or project. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages; outbound texts are responses to your inquiries. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your project activity.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any services. We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.

6. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers: companies that host our Site, deliver website form submissions to our inbox, process AI estimating conversations, store files, and support our communications (including Twilio for SMS, Anthropic for AI processing, and Google Analytics for site statistics). They may only use your information to provide services to us.
• Project partners: with your knowledge, we may share relevant project details with architects, engineers, subcontractors, or suppliers involved in your project.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, licensing authority, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers: if our business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, perform our services, and meet legal, contractual, warranty, insurance, and licensing obligations (which, for construction records in Florida, can extend for several years after project completion). SMS conversation data is retained for up to 12 months. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable hosting providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices & Rights

• Access, correction, deletion: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements). We will respond within 30 days.
• Marketing opt-out: you may opt out of promotional communications at any time by replying STOP to texts, clicking unsubscribe in emails, or contacting us directly.
• Analytics opt-out: use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent your visits from being measured.
• Do Not Track: the Site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because it does not track users across third-party websites.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, and our reviews page on Birdeye. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
